Dovrefjell - Along the Pilgrim´s Trail
National Park Dovrefjell - Along the Pilgrim´s Trail - with luggage transfer
Self guided or with guide
A hiking tour in one of Norway’s most spectacular mountain areas. Numerous important historical events have taken place in this area.
The tour is literally a walk through Norwegian history, combined with spectacular scenery. The Pilgrim´s Trail across Dovrefjell is the oldest connection between Oslo and Trondheim, and it has served as a main travel route since the Middle Ages. The tour passes through easily accesible and varied high mountain terrain.
The National Park Dovrefjell is also famous for its rich flora and fauna - and the muskox.
A nice tour for those who want to combine hiking in highlands with a good level of comfort. You stay in nice, private guesthouses during the trip. You have your luggage transferred between the guesthouses.
The tour is suitable for people with normal/good shape. You should be accustomed to walking in the mountains.
The tour at 16 - 21 July 2017 is with guide.
